Kabuki dance-Kagamijishi(A sprit of Lion)
Kabuki is a representative of Japanese traditional art from the Edo period(1603~1867)
to the present.
I tried researching “Kagamijishi”(sprit of Lion Dance) in drama of Kabuki and crafted it.
I imagined if performers were teddy bear.
This work is a combination of two cute butterfly-fairies called “Kochou” and a spirit of lion with white long hair.
Butterfly-fairies dance around him joyfully to attract him.
